Podcast

Hey Everyone!

This is the podcast I produced on SoundCloud about digital rights and responsibilities and more specifically on the right to assemble and giving credit where credit is due. Check out my amazing podcast voice in my podcast below! (sarcasm is emphasized):

Podcasts are extremely useful and they contributed to my knowledge on how to be more digitally responsible. From podcasts, I realized how important it is to double check sources to make sure the information I am receiving is being produced by a reliable source and is accurate. With podcasts being produced by anybody, one needs to be digitally responsible and understand what is being said and whether it is factual or opinion based. With individuals having the ability to voice any opinion it is important to check the producer of the podcast and whether or not this source is one you can rely on or just listen to and enjoy for personal, not educational, enjoyment. Additionally, with digital responsibility I learnt that when producing my own podcasts to be mindful of the language I use and the information I am producing as well. Being digitally responsible requires one to give credit to other individuals thoughts as well as respecting listeners and using the appropriate language when creating a podcast. Anyone can listen to your podcasts so also be weary of future employers and make sure only to post respectful and responsible podcasts to ensure you leave a positive digital footprint behind. I hope you enjoyed my podcast, till next time!

Cheers

Jason Wilson
